Polo is a minimalist fine jewelry house, founded in Prague in 2021, crafting pieces that are quiet enough to wear every day — and considered enough to keep forever.

Chapter One

A Quiet Beginning

Polo began with a small frustration. Our founder, Tereza, was searching for a single gold chain — thin, refined, durable — to wear every day. What she found was either disposable costume or impractically precious. Nothing in between.

So in a small studio above a coffee roastery in Prague's Vinohrady district, she began drawing. The first Polo collection — six pieces — launched in the spring of 2022. They sold out in eleven days.

Chapter Two

Material Honesty

Every Polo piece is made from recycled 925 sterling silver. Our gold-plated styles use a thick, ethical 18k gold-plate that is engineered to last — not the flash-plating found in fashion jewelry, which fades within months.

Our freshwater pearls are sourced from a single family-run farm in Anhui, China — a partnership we have built over four years of visits, conversations, and trust.

Chapter Three

Made in Prague

Today, Polo is still made in Prague. Our atelier has grown to a team of seven — three goldsmiths, two designers, and two people who pack every order by hand.

We have no wholesale partners. We sell only through our website and a single showroom in Prague, by appointment. This is intentional: it allows us to control every piece that leaves the studio, and to maintain a direct relationship with the women who wear our work.

The Polo Principles

Five things we believe.

Wear it daily, or don't make it.

Every Polo piece is engineered for daily wear — shower, sleep, swim — without losing its finish.

Restraint is the highest form.

We design by subtraction. A piece is finished not when there is nothing left to add, but nothing left to remove.

Material truth.

We never describe a piece as something it is not. Silver is silver. Gold-plate is gold-plate. Honestly told.

Slow growth.

We release two collections a year. We will never chase trend. We will never compromise on craft to scale.

A piece, not a product.

The word 'product' has no place in our vocabulary. We make pieces. Pieces have meaning. Products do not.
